19th September Confirmed Bank Holiday

Dear Parents / carers,

Following the sad death of Queen Elizabeth II last week, you may be aware that a bank holiday has
been declared for Monday 19th September, the day of the funeral. The Department for Education
have confirmed that all schools will be closed on this day.

In light of this guidance, I can confirm that all Springwell Leeds sites will be closed to pupils next
Monday, 19th September. We will be open as usual again on Tuesday 20th September.
