Monday 20th April: Update
Dear Parents and carers
The continuing COVID-19 pandemic means that Springwell Leeds Academy will remain closed to all pupils for at least the next three weeks. I am sure that you will have seen in certain parts of the media, that there are plans for schools to return soon. This is not the case and was confirmed by the Secretary of State for Education yesterday. Click here to read that statement.
We are all keen to return to normal as soon as that can be achieved, but I assure you that we will not do this in a way that is unsafe for our children or our staff.
In the meantime then, those staff that are able, will continue to provide remote support through home learning packs, phone calls and home visits. We have also built a home learning section on our website that has links to learning materials that can be accessed online. To view that link, click here.
We have also created an area on our website with links that we think may be useful to parents and carers during the pandemic. This can be found here .
We understand that this is a very difficult time for the whole nation and strongly encourage you to keep following Government advice to keep you and your child safe.
Please check this website regularly for updates.
