Eco-Schools Award

We are delighted and thrilled to announce that Springwell Leeds has achieved the Eco-Schools Award, with a ‘distinction’, no less!

The Eco-Schools’ award is a special prize for schools that do a great job of taking care of the environment. Run by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), it helps students learn about and solve environmental problems. Schools follow seven steps to become more eco-friendly, like saving energy, reducing waste, and protecting nature. There are three levels of awards: Bronze, Silver, and the top one, the Green Flag. Winning an award shows that the school is really good at being green and helping students make the world a better, cleaner place.
