NEU Planned Strikes

Dear Parents/ carers, 

You may be aware that The National Education Union (NEU) ballot of teacher members in England has met the thresholds required to commence industrial action. 

The NEU has announced national and strikes in this region on the following dates: 

• Wednesday 1 February 2023
• Tuesday 28 February 2023
• Wednesday 15 March 2023
• Thursday 16 March 2023

We ask you to make note of these dates. 

Your school is now making contingency arrangements for the strike days in accordance with government guidelines. The Principal will write to you with the school’s plans for the strike days in due course.
