When your child is admitted to Springwell Leeds Academy you will be required to complete a Transport Application Form. This form is submitted to Leeds City Council who will decide whether or not your child is eligible for transport to school.
Transport may be in the form of a taxi, mini bus or provision of a bus pass, depending on individual circumstances. If you would like support in completing your transport application form, please contact the Administration Office. Older children may receive independent travel training through Leeds City Council, if it is deemed appropriate for their needs. If your child is being considered for this, you will be notified. Decisions as to eligibility for transport are made by Leeds City Council and not Springwell Leeds Academy.
If your child’s transport does not arrive to collect your child in a morning, you should contact the school Administration Office immediately. Any complaints or questions regarding transport should also be directed to the Administration Office.
If you bring your child to school by car, please ensure that you adhere to traffic control signs on each site and park considerately.
