Inclusion and SEN
We are hosting an event with a fantastic range of speakers discussing topics around inclusion, SEN and SEMH. This event is suitable for teachers from any setting – primary, secondary or special. You will leave with a range of ideas and strategies to support your students. The day will start with a keynote presentation from Dave Whitaker- Director of Learning for Wellspring Academy Trust followed by workshops from a range of guests including;
Professor Damien Page- Dean of Carnegie School of Education, Leeds Beckett University
Professor Jonathon Glazzard – Professor of Inclusive Education, Leeds Beckett University
Luke Mitchell – Head of behaviour support services, Wellspring Academy Trust
Jacob Lawton – Lead Consultant For Positive Regard Teaching School Alliance
Callum Weatherill – KS2 Pastoral Leader in an SEMH school- SLE and Governor
Vicky Eustace – Training and Outreach Manager for Lighthouse School
Cherryl Drabble- Senior leader at an outstanding special school, author of ‘Introducing a School Dog: Our Adventures with Doodles the Schnoodle.’
More names will be added soon, the structure of the day will be a keynote presentation followed by 4 optional workshops.
The ticket price includes a lunch and all attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.
