Jeremy DeWhytell – Principal (Stonegate Road Site)

An English specialist, I worked initially as a Lecturer in Further Education. It was while leading GCSE re-sit groups with students of all ages and backgrounds, and hearing their stories about being unsuccessful in mainstream education that I became interested in SEMH work. Over the past twelve years, I have taught EOTAS, PRU and now SEMH provisions across Yorkshire. I can’t think of a better job in education than helping the so called ‘unteachables’ to see how capable they are of learning.

Sarah Storer – Acting Principal (Burley Park Site)

I have a range of experience spanning both mainstream & specialist settings. I am currently acting Principal at Springwell Leeds Burley Park Site. The challenge every day is teaching the children to be the best that they can be and the even greater challenge is convincing them that anything is possible. I’m excited about being part of the changes that are underway in providing a high quality SEMH provision in Leeds.
